HSD Shocks Setting and Aligned

Ok, So the GT86 is on the road and ripping around corners. Yes Increased grip is amazing.

A little hard/bouncy compared to some coilovers I've owned even with much softer springs. Currently the setting is full soft. Full Hard is definitely introduces less initial roll on turn in, but just a bit hard for street.

Thanks to the guys at Action Tyres & More. they managed to get the bent up 86 sitting pretty even. Why Bent up... because when you see the difference left to right on the strut towers. you realise theres a few degrees that is definitely different.

The next step is the TRD fender Lips. Paint and repair the rocker panel see above pic.  Hence a little out on that side.

Something the previous owner had some fun with ...

But overall, the difference is not noticeable externally.

The gold is growing on me, but definitely noticeable by others too. not really my intention.

Some plasti dip may be added. see how we go.

it was a nice sunset. but the contrast is a bit bright.

AME TM-02 Test Fitting

Arrival ... TM-02 AME Tracer. 18x9.5 +38

Michelin Pilot Sport 255/35/18    Square setup for Front and rear.

Test fit on Stock Suspension.

The rear is filled very nicely

Inital impression is that the colour doesn't match at all.

And as I already know, there is some additional steps involved before these go on permanently.

the guards will be full, but no scrubbing as yet.

that may change as clearances reduce in the guards.

Can you drive it like this. .... Legally no.

the rear fenders have a bout 7-10mm outside the guard at this height. Lowering will give some natural camber. but will still be close.

the front fenders have a bout 10-15mm outside the guard at this height. Lowering will require some camber adjustable strut tops (no wishy bones on the 86). but will still be close.

Next post is the Photoshop plans and the timeframe.
